I am a very petite person but even I was thrown off by how short/small this bench was. I love the design of it, so I am not going to return it. However, this bench is impractical for a couple of reasons. 1) As I mentioned it is very short/low, much more than normal, which can be uncomfortable for some people to sit on. Luckily this is somewhat fixed by how thick the cushion for the seat is. I definitely don’t anticipate having to worry about any indentation from people sitting for a long time. 2) There is nothing holding the cushion in place, so it moves around A LOT. The bottom of the cushion cover has some small beads that are supposed to make it anti-skid but they don’t do anything. This can be fixed by adding some rug corner holders, but considering the price of this, I would have expected better. I am so in love with the design that I am still very happy with my purchase but these were things that I felt like I would have liked to know when I originally bought this item, since it might have swayed me in a different direction.
