Great waterproof Duvet cover and is NOT Noisy and it is very soft. Had to purchase this to cover my expensive Duvet insert because I have a cat that sometimes urinates on my bed. I did not want my expensive Duvet ruined. Cat pee has a terrible odor and is hard to get out, so this cover is wonderful, and I do not have to worry about my Duvet insert. This is also nice because I can put a Duvet cover over this waterproof Duvet protector it has tabs on each end to tie a Duvet cover over it. Not many waterproof protectors have this option of extra tabs this is just a perfect cover. Great protection from all liquids not to harm your expensive Duvet Insert. AAA

Made of polyester, this is definitely waterproof, but is also slick, plasticky, noisy, and adds a few pounds to the duvet. I put a linen duvet cover over it to mask the plastic, but it's still noisy and extraordinarily heavy. It's not breathable (I was somewhat alarmed when my dog burrowed under the duvet to sleep, thinking she might suffocate). Two nights in a row that I've slept with it, I've awakened, drenched in sweat that has no place to go since there is no airflow. Obviously, it might be doing what it says it's doing, but be aware that, if you use it, you will be sacrificing most of the benefits of goosedown or even quallofill.

If you're a hot sleeper, this may not be for you. It's definitely waterproof but it's also heavy.

I wanted to love this so much. In theory (and the reason I gave it a second star) was the idea was great. However, no part of it has been pleasant. To start, it's NOT breathable such as stated. I knew this even before buying because something cant be breathable and waterproof, its one or the other, cant be both. So even with linen sheets it will make you hotter than usual. Secondly, it states its not noisy...what!? Maybe compared to having a fan blasting next to you. It's VERY noisy. Annoyingly noisy. Lastly, they skimped so much on the ties you will really struggle with or without arthritis, but if you do have arthritis prepare to suffer excruciating pain (see photo)The ties are made so tiny, you can see a side-by-side of the duvet cover I changed back to in photo attached. You can barely tie a knot, almost impossible to tie a bow for future removal. The pain in my hands was awful and it took me a good 25-35 min to tie them in a way I wouldn't knot them and be unable to untie later, or so i thought. And later couldn't come soon enough. Between the heat, the noise, and that the duvet inside kept sliding down inside except for where ties are, it didn't last a week on our bed.I recommend this if you live in extreme cold, don't mind noise swishing with any move and are prepared to add/sew-on new and extra ties. Because tying and untying these each time you want to wash it will feel like a mini hell. It took me nearly 45 min to untie these with the help of a tool (i have arthritis though).In general, I wouldn't recommend, grossly misrepresented. Its ending up in the trash.

Definitely glad I bought this before getting a puppy. It has saved my expensive duvet from accidents. It does have the slippery plastic feel but does have the ties in the corners to help slippage.

This is a nice idea and thus far my testing shows that one side is indeed waterproof. Smartly the other side isn't, making it comfortable against the skin. I did not think I would find a duvet cover with only one side waterproof. Handily there are ties to position your duvet inside it and you can use it as is; or there are another set of ties to then put it inside another cover to match your room decor.

False advertising.This is NOT breathable. Try cover your mouth with it and blow through. Water doesn't get thru nor does air. Do not buy unless you want to sleep under a plastic sheet.
