We got these for our cabin as it is rented out when we are not staying there. Gives us an extra sense of security knowing that an accidental fire (grease or other) can quickly be put out by tossing this fire blanket over top of it. I like that the packaging has pictorial instructions for quick reference in the event of an emergency, but it’s self explanatory. Tested one of the two out before implementing them and it worked as expected. We keep a fire extinguisher too, but this is a great first option as it eliminates the extreme mess other methods cause. Very happy with these!

I like the blankets and the gloves that came with them. Fortunately, I haven't had to use them. My problem is that the hooks they enclose do not stick to anything and the blankets keep falling down, hook and all. I tried attachng the hooks to painted walls, wood and steel doors and after a while they just fall to the floor. I'll come up with another hanger of some type.

These fire blankets are a great addition to my home emergency kit. The 40" x 40" size is perfect for handling small fires in the kitchen or around the house. They’re made from durable fiberglass, and I feel confident that they would be effective in an emergency situation. The pack comes with two, so I have one in the kitchen and one in the living room, just in case. The blankets are easy to use and you just pull them out and smother the flames. It’s a simple and reliable safety tool every home should have.

I was planning to buy this safety product for several months as i always cook in the kitchen. I checked those time thoroughly to ensure they are within the standards I expect for safety and protection. They look good, I hope I will never use them but I am now have peace of mind. They do not have expiry date so I feel this is good. I like they come with gloves to use on fire.

I gave my children fire blankets for Christmas last year. They were like ...... gee thanks. At one of their homes the stove burner caught on fire from spillage in the pan. Fire was reaching to the hood and suddenly she remembers the fire blanket I told them to put under the sink. The video they took showed her opening it up and going I'm not sure how to use this-I'll just throw it on and when she did the fire was gone-gone. This "would" have been a 911 call and this "would" have been fire damage but because of this blanket he fire was out and only the burner needed to be replaced. Thanks for saving the house fire blanket I bought them this year for neighbors and friends.

I have not had to use them thankfully but I did appreciate the hooks that were sent along with them for storing! They sent the gloves too which was thoughtful as fire blankets do have fiberglass in them. Not gonna lie though, if I had a fire I think my panic would skip the glove donning step. Nevertheless the gloves are hanging with the blanket.
