Who wants to sit on metal chairs, not me. I was looking for folding chairs with comfort. These chairs fit the bill. They perfectly match my table and visitors comment on their comfort when they sit in them. They were a little pricey for my limited budget but I splurged on myself for the sake of look and comfort. Assembly was limited since they only needed armrest and backrest to be attached. I was able to handle it without a problem. I plan on buying another set to complete my needs. I would recommend these chairs for their comfort, sturdiness, and value.

Haven't used them yet but they look good, feel sturdy and seem well made.

UPDATE:Reached out to seller who helped quickly by sending new chairs after I provided photos of the issues. Impressed with the customer service!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Mixed impression of these folding chairs.Pros:- Visually appealing- Seem relatively sturdy- Felt-looking pads on the bottom of legs to avoid scratching the floor- Comfortable- Washable seat cover (haven't attempted to wash so I'm not sure how well it holds up; seat back does remove for washing but you'll have to disassemble by removing 4 screws holding the seat back in place)Cons:- Hardware on arms is occasionally skewed so that 2 of the 4 arms (one on each chair I assembled) do not line up with the rest of the chair and will not allow the chair to be folded up. When I gently attempted to fold one of the chairs, the arm actually made a dent in the piece of the frame it came into contact with. I double checked both to make sure I had properly attached the arm. This is a big issue if you intend to use them as a "folding chair"- Holes in seat back may or may not line up well for screw placement. I ended up getting all of mine in place but after a fair bit of coaxing / trial and error.- The wood scratches very easily - I accidentally scratched the wood on the seat bottom (not visible unless you turn the chair over) when partially loosening screws to remove the plastic the seat was wrapped in.- One of the 4 chairs (1 of 2 orders) arrived broken in a box that was clearly a return (extra tape, extra or ripped off labels). Waiting to hear back from seller about whether they will replace.

We've had a couple of 1970s all wood folding chairs for years as backups, but at Thanksgiving or other dinners with guests, they just aren't that comfortable for extended seating. These are so comfortable that our guests used them through the entire Super Bowl and declared them very comfortable. They are sturdy and I'm very confident they would hold at least a 250-pound person. The cushion covers are removable, which is a very nice touch for the long run. All the joints were strong and secure, and there was no movement in them. the wood is nicely finished; overall, these are chairs you could use for everyday dining if you wanted to.The only drawback - and for us it's a small one - is that when folded, each of these padded chairs is nearly as thick as two of the old flat wood chairs we had. But aside from the additional storage room needed, there are no drawbacks. Good chairs, and a very good value for the price.

Great chairs and excellent service one of the chairs was damaged in transit. The company replaced it in less than a week!

Chair looked great and seemed really solid. The problem came when you attach the seat back. The screw holes did not match at all on 3 of the 4 chairs. We fought with it for over an hour. 3 adults, one was a carpenter/mechanic so we had to send them back. Wish they would have gone together. The one chair looked so good and when folded had a very small foot print. Sad
