These replaced a Menard's pair that I have had for probably 10 years now. Bought in Michigan and put away for the winter months, that all changed when I moved to Florida, near the gulf. The salt air is very tough on everything, and they rusted. I did some grinding on the hollow steel, used some bondo and repainted them. Only temporary (again with the salt air). Eventually the lower seat post and spanners began to fail, and I deemed them unsafe. These are aluminum construction and though more expensive than steel, I believe will last longer. So far, so good. Workmanship and construction seem high quality and they are very comfortable.

The chair functions, but it rocks either too far bar or too far forward depending on how you mount to seat.
