Very, very sturdy! I use it for my 75 lb husky and it makes it super easy to move around because it has wheels! Easy to maneuver around the room to clean underneath and to pull out the tray. Perfect for my smaller room but looks great and not bulky! The wheels also have locks so can stay in place. The wire inside is not easy to bend, my husky loves his kennel but even if he was a dog that tries to get through kennels, wouldn’t be able to! I ordered a similar one for my Frenchie too!

This is a perfect cage for my rabbits! The directions to build could be better. Once we got through building the 1st cage (with a few redoing times) we were able to build the other 3 very easily. I love the coating on the metal! Smooth and this is a very sturdy cage. I love the stacking ability. Though I think stacking 3 high is too tall for my use, 2 high is perfect. The room in this cage is perfect for my Holland lops! I made a shelf for one and used a corner hidey for the other. My buck likes to jump on his corner hidey and sleeps there. He can stand on his little hut and stretch and still have room. The locking is smooth and resistant to break outs. (After a woopsy and a litter we weren't expecting because of our other cage system!) The tray slides in and out easily for cleaning. It has a nice depth to catch waste. We use puppy pads and cleaning is a breeze! The plastic crate is nice for the rabbit's feet. Not too wide not too small. I did buy 4 for my rabbits and will get more if needed. I don't like the other cages out there. They are rather too flimsy, too small for my rabbit's comfort or the locking isn't great. I recommend this cage definitely! Great for small animals from rabbits to Boston terrier size dogs with plenty of room for beds, food and water

Love this kennel and so do our dogs. We have two maltitpoo puppies that have share the kennel since they were 9 weeks.. They are months of age now. We leave the door open and they go into it on their own several times each day. Usually to take a nap but they also like just sitting in it. It is very sturdy. A purchase well spent.

We love the cages for our pups. They are very storage convenient and do not take up a lot of space. We now have a total of 4 Homey Cages. Easy to assemble, keep clean, and sanitize.

These comments are for everyone, but especially dog people—groomers, exhibitors, rescues, fosters and the like—the kind of folks who are going to really use their crates day in and day out.I bought several of these Homey Pet crates recently. I have tried pretty much every crating arrangement out there over the years. My dream purchase would have been a wall bank from Shor-Line, but that was just financially out of the question.I looked at a ton of options before cautiously taking a chance on these Homey Pet crates. I was most concerned with safety. I read all the reviews. I finally ordered them.First, they’re heavy! They are much more substantial than I was expecting. If you are familiar with regular wire crates or puppy pens, these are much beefier. The hammered coating on them is nice too. It’s easy to wipe clean and time will tell how well it holds up to water and urine. These crates are individually about the size of a conventional 300 wire crate.I put these together myself over two days. For reference, I’m your average female retiree. (Two people with coffee could easily put them all together in one go.) I will say to equip yourself beforehand with a good set of screwdrivers or a cordless drill…the manufacturers thoughtfully include a little wrench and screwdriver—but trust me on this one. Go bigger. Your sanity and hands will thank you.Assembly is very straightforward and uncomplicated…I just went slow and steady. By the last crate I had assembly down to under 30 minutes. No missing parts, and in fact the manufacturer includes extra screws. I found I did have a couple of crates where I had stacking issues, and the intended screws just would not go in correctly; I used the next smaller size of screw instead and that worked fine. But overall, I didn’t have any bent wires or overt difficulties putting these together, which, yay!The wheels are rather small and not the sturdiest. They do lock. I will be moving these crates often to vacuum and mop, so I hope they hold up.I’m not a big fan of the single locking mechanism on the door. It’s meant to be a dogproof safety measure, which I appreciate, but I find it a little difficult—and unless you look closely, you can’t tell if it’s open or secured at first glance. I would have preferred a double latch closure. The grates are a nice size for most medium-to-smaller-dog paws. I have beds covering mine but if feet do get underneath, the diameter and spacing are okay. One thing I don’t like: the two grate pieces are secured via two screws with plastic knobs on them that pass through from the exterior of the crate. If you even modestly secure the grates with the screws (to prevent their movement or removal by a dog), it creates a toe-sized gap between the crate and the grate, both of which are unyielding metal. If you have ever had a suddenly-panicked dog with a trapped toe, you know what I’m talking about. I -really- hope this doesn’t happen here. I’ll update if it does.Another word about those plastic-knob screws. The crates can be opened from the top, and the top lid is secured by two little sharp metal wingnut-type screws. I hate them and don’t understand why the crates don’t come with more plastic-knob screws for the crate top, which would be much less dangerous (at either dog or human-eye-level) and easier to use. I have already replaced all mine. The crates are very nice-looking. They also have, to my surprise, better plastic crate pans than average. I was expecting thin, flimsy pans. These aren’t. I do wonder about the possibility of being able to replace any grates and pans if needed in the future: I really hope that’s going to be doable. The crates seem like they won’t be too hard to keep clean. The grates are easily removed for washing and they aren’t too big or awkward. So far I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed with this purchase. I hope the crates hold up going forward, and that buyers can get replacement parts if they need them…and the jury is still out on the gap between the grates and the crate. Ditch the wingnut-type screws if you have them.A solid purchase so far. Stay tuned.

Sturdy, great wheels. Needed for post surgery recovery. So nice to have wheels to easily move her around. Top access is also very handy to lift out a dog that can’t walk.

Perfect for all 4 of my pups! I absolutely recommend this! I have very little room for 2 massive crates and having the option to stack saves sooo much space. I love the pull out trays. Even tho my puppies are now house broken, as puppies they still get sick and the tray feature makes it sooo easy to clean and not having them lay in throw up. I have crates for my pups more for protecting them from when I am not at home or throughout the night so they do not get into anything they are not supposed to. They are frockers (frenchie/cocker spaniel) breed so they are pretty average in size. My biggest boy weighs about 43 pounds and fits in with my other big boy at the bottom who weighs 38 pounds. The two girls on top are the smallest and weigh about 32 pounds and they all have plenty of space still. highly highly recommend! These have made my life sooo much easier.Assembly was super easy & feels really sturdy when stacked. Love the wheels as well! Super easy to move it and sweep behind and under it.

Got this cage for my Champange d'Argent rabbit. It is a good heavy duty cage and the wire flooring is the perfect spacing for my bun and allows poop to fall through. I used flashing around the sides at the bottom for a homemade urine guard and added a homemade hay basket to the outside. I will be getting some more resting mats to put down over the wire so that my bun doesn't have to be on it at all times. Other than the few customizations though, it is a fantastic cage, really sturdy and love that wheels are optional and that stacking the cages is a possibility. I found the tray at the bottom to be deep enough and not too flimsy. Added some wood pellets to the tray to soak up the urine. There is enough clearance between the wire bottom and tray for my purposes of keeping the bun out of his mess and having the pellets in the tray to soak the urine up.The cage opening from the top and having the front door is a handy feature as well and I find the sizing of the front door to be good. One disappointment was when building it and fiddling with the floor grates, a piece of the lock on the front door randomly chipped off when I rubbed my arm against it from fiddling around inside the cage with my hands. It shouldn't have come away so easily like that and seems like a weak spot. The lock still works right now but it is compromised in that area for sure so I will be keeping an eye on it as I suspect it will eventually affect the ability to lock.Overall happy with the product. Great rabbit cage - better than cages actually marketed and sold as rabbit cages.
