I love how they put effort into how it's packaged. I don't even have to wrap it for my niece. The pen is kinda junky as far as changing the color of ink. It kind of gets jammed up but the quality of the book more then makes up for it. It's a bit heavier and thicker then the ones you can buy at Walmart. The tail on the face of the book is outlined in stitching and there's pearls on it.

Gòt this for my 3 year old daughter. Mostly because of the journal & the colored pen, her bro has one and she always take it, so I thought this would be cute stocking stuffer. She loved it, she takes good care of it, she did break the glass ball on the Keychain though, so I just tossed the whole thing because it was glass. So it's def for older girls but it's super cute, def recommend for a gift
