I'm largely against working from home, but when I recently got promoted to a new department, I didn't have a choice. So...it was time to get serious about setting up a functional desk. This was the final piece that brought everything together. I cannot tell you how important desktop space is, and when you have a desk with a return, a tremendous amount of your desktop becomes unusable. Enter this simple sleeve. This totally turned my shallow desk into an amazing desk with deep-corner desktop. This creates enough room for my keyboard to sit on my desktop without having to prop it up on the monitor base and with plenty of room to spare. Bonus, you can add a pull-out keyboard tray if that is what you are looking for.Full disclosure, I haven't yet permanently mounted this, basically because I haven't been to Home Depot for a spacer since my desk has a rather thin top to it. I'm going to need about a 3/8" inch spacer to drill the screws into. Honestly, since I don't have any kids in the house, I haven't had any concerns about leaving it unmounted. It isn't moving around on me or causing any issues.

I thought it was going to be too big on my desk but it was perfect.. Great product..One tip though, if you desk isn't as thick as this product, insert a wood to make it sturdy like what I did, cut a triangle shape wood..

This thing works great, I have way more surface area in my corner workstation now. It feels very sturdy and like it will hold up for a very long time. I Love it.Now, onto why I gave this 4 star instead of 5 star. There was a screw missing, and there were some minor cosmetic scuffs on one area. Luckily I keep extra screws on hand, and I'm not bothered by the minor scuffing. I feel like for some people this would be a problem though, so I've included that information in my review.

Product had one finished edge that was sharp and had not been deburred. Caused scratching.

I got this for my corner desk, it serves its purpose but I do wish there was someway to fasten it in place. At least a few times a day I bump it or catch the arms of my chair on it and it comes off kilter. If they could find a way to remedy that with some grips or something I would give it 5 stars. I would recommend this product.
