the shape and details are there, but the glaze is so thick that you can barely see it. If that doesn't bother you then these are fine.

I know these are advertised as rests for chopsticks, but I also use them as rests for table knives. I wanted a set of knife rests but didn't like any I saw, especially the "dumbbell" crystal ones. Absurd, I don't want anything that looks like exercise equipment on my table. These Little ceramic flowers work well. They don't take up space and are big enough for a knife blade to rest on. Plus they go with my dishes.
