This isn't grippy at all and slides in every floor surface we gave tried it on. Not a rock stop, just a rock. Useless.

Our daughter said this rock stop is better than the one she uses at school. It does not slide on the floor and is more durable than the school's rock stop.

I’ve been playing cello for over 30 years and this is the worst rock stop I’ve ever used. It slipped constantly through rehearsal and I ended up using the strap on my purse to keep my instrument in place. Just don’t waste your money.Upon reading the description it says for use on carpet. Any cellist knows you don’t need one on carpet.
