These were given as a gift for a homewarming. The recipient adored them. She said they are perfect for her and her family as they eat soft boiled eggs in porcelain cups every morning. They get popped right into the dishwasher when breakfast is done.

These spoons are a good quality, meaning they are sturdy enough. The Towle brand is sturdier, though, if you don't mind paying a bit more. (I have both brands). Funny story: I had been checking Goodwill for these spoons for some time, then finally gave in and bought the ones I am reviewing. A week later I found the Towle brand ones at Goodwill. Haha! Couldn't return these because I had already used them. Well, like I said, these are good and I was not disappointed in them.
