I bought this for my diesel heater and it works great, it’s lightly insulated and keeps the heat in the tube.I like the way it collapses from 16 feet to about 1 foot. It’s a little tight to get on but it’s better than to loose. Also you should run the heater for a few hours before ducting this into a tent, it does give off some strong fumes for awhile.

xTool has a 3 inch hose, so if you buy another 3 inch hose, you would expect them to be at least the same size and work with the same couplers. But when you try to use this hose with an xTool coupler, it’s several millimeters smaller in diameter, so it definitely won’t form anything close to a seal. The hose itself is fine and feels pretty durable. It is a thick plastic, but not rigid like the xTool plastic where you can actually turn the hose in a particular direction and it will support itself. I did find that the difference in diameter between the xTool hose and this hose is sufficient enough that you can wind this hose inside of the xTool. So if you can find a coupler that works with this hose and an xTool port, this might be a good solution.UPDATE: I added two more pictures. Because it slides inside the other tube, I cut the xTool tubing to make two ends that go into the coupler and still have enough of the rigid xTool tube to provide some control and structure. I think this will work if you just use this tube to extend your existing tube in the middle. In the pictures you can see that I removed a middle section of the xTool tubing and replaced it with this. For additional structure, you could add more elbows of the xTool tube at strategic locations around this tubing.

The 4 layers of construction mean it's thicker and more protected. I got one of those squirrel-cage fans for my working area that puts out a power blast of fast-moving air from the 8 inch register and tried to find a decent 8 inch vent hose to make the fan more multi-purpose. The Hon&Guan 8 inch 16 ft long air ducting fits on the rectangular output of the fan but it has to be widened to about 8 1/2 inches to go on, with a few laps of duct tape on the fan output and then over the exterior of the vent pipe to stop any air leaks makes it a good combination. Also furnished are 2 stainless steel clamps to use for the most secure connection at either end. I don't think I need a clamp but I'll have the right size if I need a tighter connection. Turning on the fan with the vent hose provides output to the NEXT room (or to the outside) and will also take any fumes or vapors out of the working area and vent them to the outside. Great for comfort and safety! Unlike the coiled-wire vent hose with only a single aluminum-foil layer, this 4 layer hose will last for a very long time and is sturdy enough to allow for repair with duct tape because the other (internal) layers will be difficult to damage.

Wasn't sure this would do the trick when I bought it, but the price was right. When it arrived, I thought it might not fit or be safe with the heat I was using it for. It is very long and will get the heat I need where ever I want it. Being it is a wire covered with a PVC jacket, it will crush easy if you step on it, but continues to work well. I am not sure what will happen if I cut it down, but I know this will work for a 60mm and with an adapter, will work with 75mm outlet. Having a foil inside, it retains heat well.

The flex hose is exactly what I need. It is sturdy enough but the dimensions are misleading. I have a 6" adapter which the hose needed to fit over. But it would not fit over the small part of an adapter. When I measured the DIA of the hose, it was around 5". In order to get the full DIA of the hose, you have to really stretch it to a level that is impractical. I tried altering the hose and even that did not work! I was a bit upset because this voided the ability to return it! But again, the hose is exactly what I need and fits my budget so I ordered the 8" instead of the 6".

Would have rated 5 stars if the hose had a slightly bigger diameter. It doesn’t fit the dryer vent right on but had hose clamps that made it work. Needs to be a little larger. But the hose itself is great quality and working like a charm on my dryer.

We originally purchased an 8 feet one, non flexible one from store and it just did not work at all. Ripped apart actually. We ordered the 16 feet one and it works just perfectly. It was so forgiving, so flexible. The changing of this hose really made a difference in the laundry drying. Absolutely recommend.

Product exactly as expected except it seems a tad small. I would assume a 4 inch dryer vent hose would attach to a 4 inch hard vent pipe (as this would bridge the gap being flexible) but it did not really slide over the existing 4 inch fixed pipe. It did but a micro millimeter but I think others in this situation should know, don't back on this slipping on an exact 4 inch piece of pipe. Take that into account, I did flex/bend in my fixed pipe and was able to get this hose on enough to tape/secure it but I would caution or know this is what is needed when the time comes. Good quality, happy with product!
