My very favorite earrings are my 9mm 14K gold ball stud earrings. My grandkids ask if I only have one pair of earrings. :) No, I have many pairs but these are the ones I wear almost daily because they are the perfect size for me, are comfortable, and they go with almost everything. After 5 years of wear, the post started detaching at the ball. I contacted the Honolulu Jewelry Company and explained the issue. The Customer Service Representative (Tara) told me to send the earrings back and they would send a replacement, which they did. I am very pleased with the Honolulu Jewelry Company's stellar customer service, communication, and their willingness to stand behind its products! Thank you, Honolulu Jewelry Co., you are a breath of fresh air; more companies need to follow your lead!

So pleased that these are the size I ordered. It is very difficult -- and risky -- to order an item like this online from simply a picture; you never know what size you'll end up with. I've had to return 4 pair of posts that were not the size I ordered, despite the fact that the sellers claimed otherwise. Just to be sure, I took a pair to a local jeweler who measured them with a little tool he has for that purpose -- I watched him -- and, sure enough, they were much smaller. The minute I opened these up, I knew they were, in fact, 8mm. And I'm delighted with them. They're lovely, and I feel good in them. I highly recommend this jeweler.

I really like these 9mm gold stud earrings. They are just the right size - not too big and not too small. They have a very nice presence and you can clearly see them even with my longer hair. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the clutches that were included. They are so so small that you cannot put them on the back of the earring. I tried several times and they would fall out of my fingers. I have thin fingers so that is not the issue. The clutch is just too small for these posts. If the clutch was large enough to securely hold the earring, this would have been a 5 star review.

The description stated these are marked 14 carat gold—there are no markings on the earrings and no statements on the outside or inside of box. There is no why to tell if these are real.

WARNING: Don't bother buying these HOTIE studs. Claiming to be 14k gold, but no hallmarks and my ears are already irritated from them four hours into wearing them.
