The color is great and it allows for variations in intensity. The sturdiness is great, while not being too heavy, but also being very flexible. The ease of use is really great. I was using it for my own books, but now both our young kids have commandeered them and use them at night before going to sleep to read. I love how well this works for their needs. It doesn’t keep them up with blue light and encourages healthy habits with reading.

I bought this light five years ago, and having used it countless times including last night, I just had to pull it up online and write a review for it. I love this little light. Yes, there are likely better ones available now (such as one that is worn around the neck that I may well buy), but this one simply has the versatility that makes it a great tool on the bedside table. Yes, it’s nice for reading in a dark room, which is handy when you don’t really want to turn on a 100-watt bulb at 3:00 in the morning. The amber light is perfect to read by and doesn’t hurt the eyes; you can choose between brightnesses. The clip is a bit cumbersome when attached to a book, and may need to be adjusted periodically, but it’s rigid and it works. Oftentimes, this light’s best feature just happens to be that clip, as when resting on the table, has the width and heft to hold the light upright like a tiny table lamp. This is so useful when waking up during the night to take a pill, find an aspirin, use the bathroom, or whatever else might rouse you out of the darkness. It’s soft light illuminates well and eliminates fumbling in the dark. You need only grasp the top and squeeze to turn it on, no little button to press. In the five years I’ve had it, I can’t even recall recharging it, but I suppose it’s possible I’ve charged it once. It’s compact and easy to travel with as well.

Before I begin, please note that I primarily use this light to read a physical book at night.Light Details:The light has 3 levels of brightness. All of them can be used to read a physical book just fine, depending on how much brightness you need. The light ranges from a soft orange to a sepia-ish orange. I found the light so soothing that without meaning to I fell asleep to it before getting far into my book.Battery Life:The battery and brightness can last a long time, especially without usage. Just as an example, I was hospitalized for two weeks not long after getting this light (no, the light didn't put me in the hospital, in case you were wondering, all of you over-thinkers). When I returned home the light still worked at the same level of brightness.Ease of Use:This light is easy to use and handle. You click the head to turn it on and then click the head again to adjust the brightness until it turns off. The light clips on to a book. You may have to adjust the position to your liking, as is the case with many book lights.Charging:This light also comes with a usb charger that makes charging the light quite easy.Flaws:Honestly, the only flaw I can think about is the length of the charging cable. Depending on your proximity to an outlet, it may be a tad on the shorter side.Would I Recommend this product?Yes. I highly recommend this product, especially for those looking for a simple book light. The light is a soothing color that is easy on the eyes. It's easy to use. The battery lasts long. And it's easy to charge. (Now I just need to find a new physical book to read at night and I'll be all set.)

I got this for use as task lights on a dimly lit DJ booth.The LED light is nice. I appreciate that it's only red light. The on/off button seems solid. The battery lasts at least 24 hours continuously. It will run when plugged in if the battery is dead. My only complaint is that the rubber on the movable clip slowly slides out of place when left clipped to a wider surface. I'd also want the gooseneck to be a little longer for my use but think it's perfectly fine for book reading.

IM IN LOVE!!! This is what I was looking for AND MORE!! Now I can read at night in a calming way, not disturb my husband, and not install lights in my room just for this.I LOVE that you can choose the brightness on it too!! I got the red light btw. I LOVE this for reading before bed. Early evening the amber light is great, late at night I can use the red light to protect my eyes and not interfere with melatonin production. It doesn't disturb my husband. I'd highly recommend this if you're trying to be more aware of your circadian rhythm, hormone health and eye health! :)

The aesthetic of this light is lovely. The 3 light intensity settings are perfect for adjusting the amount of light I need. The battery lasts a long time. It clips nicely to a book or stands alone on a sturdy base. The gooseneck is so smooth and feels durable. 10/10 product. Excellent price. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I use it to clamp on a tripod leg when I am doing astronomy. Red light saves night vision and there are three brightness settings. All red, didn’t want any other colour, was very happy to find this product. 👌

This is simply a brilliant reading light. It's very adjustable with brightness and various angles. It's very clever in that it doesn't use any of the blue light frequency that disturbs your sleep process. Just one thing to add, maybe it could be more travel friendly if it folded up for more protection. However this light is simply great. Stop looking and get this one.

Three settings for brightness. Great light. Haven't had to charge it yet and it's still working perfectly. The clip is sturdy and soft enough to not mark pages or make imprints. Very happy with this product.

This is a great little reading light. More than bright enough to read with and doesn’t upset my husband as can be directed into the book with minimal light pollution to the sides. It is fairly lightweight and I have used it with ease fir both paperback and hardback books. Clip is slightly chunky but not bothersome and it remains steadfast without slipping. Not so keen on the red light option but the other 2 light modes are both great. Lasts for a good few weeks of bedtime reading without requirement for recharge. Would definitely recommend!

I am enjoying this light quite a bit so far. I use it for reading and have also used it for other tasks in dimly lit areas in the house. I appreciate the different light settings as well.
