Took all of 7 minutes to install. Couldn't be happier - the clip on versions are in firmly and don't appear that they will move at all down the road. Really cleans up the look of the grill and I don't have to see the radiator anymore. Based on some of the other negative reviews here are some install tips:1) When you take out the inserts please look at one carefully. Note that one end is wider than the other.2) Now look at your grill. You will notice that in each opening the bottom is wider than the top3) Make sure you align the wider part of the insert with the bottom - if you do there is no way these will not fit right4) Don't be afraid to give the insert a good slap for the clips to retain - I actually only slapped the last one the rest I used the adjacent opening to slide my hand back in there and feel the clip lock in5) Both ends are a little tricker as there are some parts in the way - again - just give it a good slap near where the clips are and it will attach6) Last - pull on each insert by inserting your pinky in one the holes to ensure all the clips are in. You will get pull if one is not secure - simply slap and test until you are in.The above is probably overkill but some folks said these didn't fit or clip - I just think they didn't observe the grill and inserts and note the wider opening at the bottomAlso - for anyone with a black clear coat finish the "shine black" ones match the look perfectly....I am one happy guy with this purchase for my 2010 JKU!!

It makes the grill look niceI have no problem with the car overheating with these on it don’t run hot also there are directional when you install them so don’t try and force them you may have to flip them otherwise good product once they’re in they sit tight

Great product and easy installation on my 2016 Rubicon Hard Rock. There were no instructions included but not needed. Mine did not include 3M tape as I've read that some do and some do not. I don't think it's necessary. When installing, I'd hear a satisfying 'click' and they felt like they installed firmly. Now here's a hint. When I heard the click on my first one but had difficulty getting the second to click, due to the flimsy nature of the Jeep grill, I reached behind the grill and supported it with my fingers while pishing the inserts in. This worked until I got to the last one, of course, so I simply took the grill attachments on top of the grill off (seen when you lift the hood-5 or 6 black inserts-simply pry them up with a screw driver. There should be a video on you tube showing how to do it) I'd probably just do that in the first place next time. Overall took about 10 minutes including detaching the grill. Also, some people on here were saying they didn't know which insert went into which space. Either I got really lucky or all of the inserts are the same size.

First, let me say these ARE the clip in version. One of the other reviews I read said these were the adhesive kind, but the ones I got were clip in. Secondly, they suggest that you remove the grill, which I agree with. All you really have to do is pull the grill forward a little, but it needs to be done because you need to get to the back of the grill to make sure to make sure each insert is clipped in all the way until it clicks. You can't make sure it's secure from the front. You'll be tempted to try, but trust me, you don't want to take any chances, especially when it's so easy to do it the right way. I admit I myself was a little wary of pulling the grill, but it's really just a piece of plastic that's held in with plastic fasteners. You can remove the plastic fasteners with a screwdriver easily enough, but it's better if you buy a pair of clip pliers to make sure it comes out smooth and easy. Once in, they really make the Jeep look better and it seems to me, protect debris and bugs from getting inside your grill. Opar also emails you an instruction manual along with the one that's included in the box. Nice touch. Oh one more important thing: the inserts, like the slots in your grill, ARE NOT symmetrical, even though they look like they are. So there is a top and a bottom, and you need to make sure each one is "right side up" when you insert it. I didn't realize this at first, but got lucky with first five, so it took me a second to realize why the last two didn't fit. Lol. But once I turned them up right side up, they clipped in easily just like the rest.

I bought this product expecting it to not be very good but was pleasantly surprised. The finish is nice and glossy like the OEM black paint. The 4 tabs are pretty sturdy and have enough of a lip to securely clip behind the grille bars. They line up pretty symmetrically. Downsides: Some of the edges have a little leftover plastic because they weren’t taken out of the molds very cleanly. There are also small indentations on the front surface where the molds were filled. And some inserts move a few millimeters up and down after being attached. Conclusion: for 16$ it’s a great buy. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to others. Tip: take the grille off of the car and lay it on a flap surface and take your time. It takes 20 minutes to do it right and securely attach the inserts. I will write back on their longevity.

Looks great on my 2015 Wrangler JKU. I bought this article because I prefer installation with tabs over self-adhesive tape. For the best install, remove the grill first, so you can put pressure with your hand at the back of the grill when you are clicking the inserts into place. If you don't do this, the tabs might not lock. But if you do, it is a perfect fit! Check if all tabs are in place before re-installing the grill.I had a(n expensive) steel mesh insert before, but after 4 years it became rusty. Now with the ABS inserts this problem is solved. Excellent value for money !

Super Qualität und Optik. Ich war anfangs skeptisch betreffend dem Preis, jedoch wurden die Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Das Hochglanz Schwarz passt super zu der schwarzen Metalliclackierung. Auch die Montage ist Plug and Play und ist nach der Demontage des Kühlergrills leicht möglich, passt alles ohne Nacharbeiten - habe einen 2011er JKU.Die Lieferzeit von einem Monat war nicht korrekt, die Blenden wurden bereits nach 4 Tagen geliefert.

Great product. Make sure you get the upgraded clip in version. Ordered the gloss black color and it matches my gloss black grille perfectly. Install was a breeze and can be done with grille in place. Simple push in place until you hear a click. I opted to remove the Jeep grille but found this wasn't needed but allowed comfort to check that all clips were seated correctly.Don't waste your time with taped on version. Recommended product by good seller.
