This was super easy to put on! The first one I went very slow because I was scared I would break it. It didn't want to snap into place at first- and when it did- I thought I actually broke it. After looking at it a little closer I realize that was it snapping into place properly.Very easy to install. Literally no tools. It has little grooves to grip the grill. I'm excited to have this not only because it looks cool but because it will protect the grill behind it.Today is the first day of putting it on since I received it yesterday. If anything negative happens I will update my review accordingly.If there are no updates you can safely assume everything is fine and works great. That it is likely durable over a long period of time and worth the money.

Content with the product. Fits my 98 TJ. May not be a big difference at first glance but it makes it look neater. Also helps with rocks going in there. First pic with on, second pic without

If you want to open your hood after install you will need to make an L shaped rod to pull the latch.

the front of the tj is iconic in its own right, but it could also use a little pizzazz. some people do the lame, played out thing, and put the "angry bird" grill on it. why would you do that? You have a jeep, why be angry ? anyways, i digress.....the grill inserts accentuate and makes the stuff behind the grill "disappear". a quick, super easy way to add that subtle touch of style, while cleaning up the look of the front end.wash your grill. take the inserts and pop them in, one at a time. be sure to put the bend at the right end. i put the bottom lip in the grill, and simply popped them in, with the ball of my hand. after washing the grill, and wiping it down quickly to dry it, installation took about 42 seconds, for all 7 pieces.i had chrome inserts in, that i popped out first, before washing the grill. the black is a lot better looking on my solar yellow (PYH) tj, than the chrome was. the old ones were easy to pop out too just hook your finger inside the very bottom (or top) and pull straight out from the tj, with a good tug.the inserts fit snugly, don't rattle, and look awesome. the "mesh" type holes in the inserts will help keep out leaves, larger bugs, and possible angry birds. (even though they are lamer than the lamest thing you could name)

I bought these after noticing my Jeep's radiator was getting pretty dinged up from rocks kicked up on the road. The holes aren't small enough to stop all the gravel, but there's no doubt it'll limit the damage.Took all of 2 minutes to install, and they look fantastic! They've picked up a few nicks already, but that's to be expected, they're hard to see unless you're inches away from the grill.

These were not clip-in. Different from the picture. They come with two sided poor quality adhesive tape that would probably fail in rough conditions. I had to return it.

Fit perfecly on my 2001 jeep tj, strong self clipping, nice color, plastic look like metal, easy to install in 1 minutes change the look totally. DONT BUY THOSE with doible side tape.

Was some generic brand not hooke road and wasnt clip in. Had double sided tape to hold it in instead. Returned.

nice fit easy install like minutes looks good I bought these for the reason going through the bush a stick won't hit my radiator
