An affordable solution to the overpriced pro-level sleigh bells. I use it for simple accessory percussion on my drum kit, and it also can be played as a "toe-tapping' instrument.

Hand held jingle bells for the Christmas season. Small enough to keep in your coat pocket to ring whenever you get the Jingle Bell urge. Five bells are riveted to a thick rich red leather band, connected at each side to a wooden handle. It looks like it was made in the 1950s: substantial and won't break at the first ring. You'll have this jingle bell for a long time. Of course, it's all fun Christmastime merry making with these jingle bells. Very nostalgic and hearkens to a simpler and more wholesome time.

This is a nice set of hand sleigh bells, great for Christmastime or for kids' instrument play any time of year. They have a good sound, loud enough to be clearly heard but not jarring, and a good handle. The bells seem well-attached, which is important if toddlers/babies will be anywhere near these, since the bells are small enough to be a choking hazard. We were very happy to have these in our play-along instrument set for the holidays.
