This fly sheet has been helping my horse a lot. She’s a green mustang and hates any type of fly product I put on her so this was my last resort.The fabric feels like a light cotton. It has buckle straps and a Velcro enclosure in the front, two belly straps and two under back leg straps.My horse is 14h, 1000lbs, and has the body like a barrel so anything she puts on doesn’t fit properly. I bought the 72†one and length wise it fits great. It’s big around her belly (pic is before I tightened it) but again nothing fits like a “normal†horse. I’d say sizing is pretty accurate from other horse garments I have purchased.I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad. This is a really nice fly sheet.

I live in Tennessee so this fly sheet was too thick for my horse in the summer but was very well made.

This flysheet fit my small horse like a glove and helped keep the flys at bay! He gets horrible hives, so this was a great solution to help keep the hives down. Good price point and easy to put on!

The belly clasps on this sheet are not safe. The first time my horse wore it, they came loose, scared him into running. I put them back on. Fine. Next day, he is found with the belly clasps again off but this time the sheet ripped because the belly clasp got caught around the back leg strap. I found him with it bound up around his back leg. He wore it a total of 2 times. He is NOT usually hard on sheets/blankets either.

Having a baby horse that destroys fly sheets this one has lasted me almost 3 months. It’s great quality for the price and is breathable with the Florida heat.

Fit is good, but the two large straps keep coming undone. There are also tears in the fabric after only a few days. Now there are several after just 2 weeks.. Horse is stalled so there is really nothing for him to rip it on.
