I needed something to smooth out my Best friend’s coat. He is a Bernadoodle with a coat more like the poodle. This brush helps clean out the dirt etc. he picks up out on the trail and prepares him for the groomer. It works great and he thinks he is getting lots of love from mommy as I smooth his coat.

I ordered this brush from the Maine and Stable store. It is a good looking brush with a attached strap that fits comfortably in my had. The bristles however do not seem very soft and are not natural hair. I could not tell if my horse really liked the brush, I mean it works well for dust/dirt, not so much for the main and tale, which I think it should be used for.The brush is average decent, and will continue to use until it wears.

The brush has bristles soft enough for sensitive skin and also able to remove light dirt and dust giving a nice finishing shine to the coat. The leather padded handle is comfortable and my hand doesn't slip while grooming. Its a nice addition to my grooming kit and best of all the horse enjoys being brushed with it.

I'm a bit of a grooming connoisseur when it comes to caring for my horse, and I own a full line of the best brushes and grooming products on the equestrian market. I figured I would try this brush and give it a go to see how it performs.Right out of the box, the brush is attractive and good quality. The wood is lacquered and solid, but the space between the bristles and the edge of the brush is abnormally wide. I'm not sure what the bristles are made from, but it doesn't seem like genuine hair.The leather strap is a nice touch, but I can definitely tell by the funny smell out of the box that it's not good quality vegetable tanned leather.Ultimately, it would be nice as a finishing brush as it is quite soft, but for this value you could easily go with something better.

i love the handle and the comfort of the strap but the bristles are just ok. mine came with a bunch of bent and misshapen bristles. The softness is good. Not too soft or too hard. leaves a nice shine. This brush is better than a lot ive gotten but the packaging could be better. it was shoved in a box and taped shut. im sure thats what bent the bristles.

This is a good quality brush. It is medium stiff so it is good for brushing dirt off of horses or using for washing horses. Some horses find it too stiff brushing around the face. The leather strap is nice and makes the brush comfortable to use. It’s a bit tight on my male hand but my daughter loves how it fits her. Overall this is a great product.

A friend of mine that I hang out with has several horses so I got this brush for her to try out. She said that it's decent quality but not the best she's ever used and other than that it fits in the hand nicely and works as it should although she said one of the more fussy horses didn't like it as much she thinks because maybe it wasn't quite soft enough but then again it's a horse so who knows.
