I bought the JollyBall for my Rottweiler/German Shepherd dog when I saw a YouTube video with another Rottweiler playing with the toy that the horses were also playing with and figured my dog would love something like this too. I was concerned about it being too much but he handled it really well and had a blast. This toy is very durable and very reasonably priced. He needs the exercise and has fun too. And I get a break too!

Original review: Initially, I thought this would be a great toy for my energetic but small boxer. She loves the 5-6†version, which has held up really well. But this 10†version was crushed pretty quickly. She was able to bite holes into the ball, so the plastic isn’t super thick. This might be great for a horse as long as it doesn’t squish it, but it’s not very tough as a dog toy. I expected it to be heavier and sturdier.New review: My dog is still actively playing with this ball after 5 months and it is intact enough to be a pool toy for her. I’m going to buy another one as soon as this one no longer works but at this rate that’ll be a long time! Great for an energetic dog to play with on land or in water!

I TRIED TO RETURN/REPLACE THE ITEM AND THEY WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DEFECTIVE! I would give it 0 stars if I could just for lack of customer service. BEWARE! You can NOT return this item if it is defective. I would be interested in changing my review if the seller were to reach out.I want to say that this is a negative review of JUST the blue-colored Horsemen's Pride Jolly Ball Horse Sized. This is NOT a negative review on any other colors that have held up great. We previously (over 1 year ago) bought 2 different colored (one green and one red) horse-sized jolly balls for our geldings to play with and they have held up great for over a year and a half of constant play. The Jolly Balls endured 110-degree heat with hours of play a day and held up great, unlike the blue one we recently purchased. Within 2 days of them being introduced to the blue one and playing with it, we came home to it completely destroyed. (see the two pictures)I recommend that you purchase other colors due to the lack of durability of the specific blue-colored jolly ball.

My dogs have been playing with Jolly Balls for years. They’re pretty durable except for the handle which is hollow so it’s the first think to be torn apart by my dogs jaws. However, the rest of the ball lasts and can take a beating.

This is our third, yes third, large sized Jolly Ball with a handle I have gotten for our little rescue Chili in the year we have had her. She prefers the larger ones over the smaller since I can kick or throw this one for her to chase, maul, and herd it back to me. She growls and barks at it as it races around our yard, up and down the hill, trying to escape from her. Chili is mostly Cavalier and Cocker mix, weighing in at almost 30 lbs, and can barely lift it high enough to carry it without tripping. When the handle is almost dislocated off the ball, I cut it totally off and thread a thick rope and tie it off for a new handle (blue ball). Then when the connector section of the ball is gone, we just retrim all rough bits off again and keep going (red ball). Even with the handle totally gone, it keeps its shape and she carries it with her mouth in the hole. Twenty minutes of Jolly Ball gets me about a good hour of peace and quiet.

My dog Nala loves the 10†jolly ball. It convenient to order this toy from Amazon. And it’s about the same price as the local feed stores, it is a horse toy. Saves me on gas money buying with Amazon

This thing is big. But my medium size dog loves it. He carries it around like it was much smaller. He destroyed an off-brand jolly ball smaller one within the hour so don't get anything that doesn't have the "Horsemen's Pride" label on it. This ball appears completely indestructible. Except for the tiny plastic hole plug that got removed within 10 minutes. Not a problem though because the ball does not deflate at all. I wish the company would make a smaller one. But I don't think my dog cares. He loves the one he has. Edited. Well damn. Had to reduce my rating to 3 stars. It took less than a week for him to chew a corner off the handle. But he still loves it. And it is still useable as a toy. But now I have to monitor his play time with it so he won't swallow harmful pieces he chews off.

This household of a two-year-old Australian Shepherd and Double Doodle puppy LOVES Jolly Ball! I accidentally ordered this large size 10†for my Aussie who was a puppy at the time, but he still attempted to carry it around—so cute. Now he’s a bigger boy and has so much fun with it (and he can carry it). He was about 18 months in the pic I’ve included. That ball travels all around the yard! I know this model is for horses but Jolly Ball has changed, and I find the ones made for dogs aren’t as durable anymore. My preference is size 8†but he likes the handle on this model, so it works. The ball doesn’t smell that strongly of peppermint—I’m happy about that. I highly recommend Jolly Ball products; we own many, indoors and out, different sizes and types, and they’ve kept us all entertained!

The quality is rather poor, especialy for such a high price. 5 minutes into playing, the handle was already bitten to pieces. However, my dobermann loves it. Good toy, but not for heavy chewers.

My horse loves playing with this. Some others have to be inflated but this is already formed.

This is a sturdy toy that is self entertaining, and very durable.
