I got this light for my bathroom so I could switch it on in the middle of the night and not have it shining into the bedroom when not needed. When I opened the package, I actually felt that the design was a lot prettier than I pictured. I like that the light, when on, is a really nice, soft, warm light that isn't too bright and is good for when I am going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It's also great for mood lighting.Note however that the light sticks out a bit from the wall. It's definitely not as flat as other night lights. I also agree with other reviewers when they say they wish they couldn't see the light behind the nightlight when looking at it straight on. I think maybe if they had made the clear acrylic colored, like a clear blue, it would have made it look just a little nicer. I can understand though that this may possibly cause the light to take on a different tone. If you really want, you could probably paint the back with a translucent paint. Overall really like it!

It's just the right amount of light. It's not too bright. Colors vibrant and pleasing to look at, on or off. A perfect fit for a bathroom as a functional necessity.

I love the turtle image, but the nightlight itself broke just as the warranty. It was up so I had to buy a different nightlight and put it on there.
