These work great. As far as how the plugs insert into your rig, I really can't see how this would be a problem, and if it is, read the description and look at the pics before you buy. It sure isn't Hosa's or Amazon's fault.

it is a really good idea to have this angular connection, the only problem is the connectors are in opposite orientations, I have a set up of synths in a table and for one end the out of the connection is going up but for the other end, it is going down. So my synth is like bouncing now.

It may be helpful to know that the input jacks in these cables run up and down, not side to side. So, on a pedalboard, these can go down below, if there is open space. Up is also possible, but ungainly. I have other, flat midi cables which run side to side, and I think I prefer that method, but In his specific case, it worked to my advantage. The quality is goo,d typical midi cable quality. I would buy again if I needed this length and orientation.
