I connected the 2 TRS side to a synth stereo output. On the other side, the female connector, I put a balanced TRS which went to a balanced input from a sound mixer. That maked for a 2 balanced TRS to 1 balanced TRS, that sums the Left and Right Output from the synth, to 1 Mono Input (but balanced) from the mixer. Works pefectly.

This Y adapter serves a single purpose in two ways- to take one STEREO (two channel) signal and split it into two separated stereo (two channel) signals or vis versa take two separated (two channel) signals into a single stereo (two channel) signal. It cannot be used to separate the two channels. It is tip, ring, sleeve consistent and will serve TS balanced common connections as well. Thank you for a true Y connector and not like the myriad of other channel SPLITTERS that separate or combine the two channels.

I needed just this to duplicate a balanced audio signal to two inputs on my sound capture card as an easy way of making various programs on my desktop perceive a mono signal from a stereo source rather than having everything off to one channel, and it works for that purpose just fine.Though a few people complained of issues with the female connector being out-of-spec and too large a diameter, I did not experience this. Perhaps there was at one point a bad run of these?The only issue is that being a relatively cheap connector, you'll get some static off it if you nudge cables. A gold-plated version of this interconnect would be much better, but as long as things stay still, the audio is fine and well-balanced across both outputs.

I use this in my Subutex midget combo it says rated 40 Watts but it sure seems like it's a lot more sometimes I run both the low in the high Channel anyway I use this is a splitter from my guitar to send signals into both sides at the same time probably not too good on that filter caps but 130 decibels love it

i am using this to combine the left and right channel outputs of a drum machine to try and increase the output and also combine those two channels. it's doing what i had hoped it would.

Compré el artículo pensando que se trataba de un adaptador de dos salidas mono balanceadas ( TRS machos) a una estéreo (TRS hembra). Sin embargo se trata de un duplicador de señal. De la hembra estéreo salen dos machos con la misma señal. No es lo que esperaba.

この商品を必要とする機会がある方はなかなかいらっしゃないかも知れませんが、必要と感じる方には充分オススメ出来ると思います。僕は、MTRでギターなりマイクなりを2トラック共に入力させたく購入しました。 2トラック同時に入力出来れば、それぞれをPANで左右に振ってあげればステレオ入力出来るからです。充分目的は果たせました。
