We own various types of Host Glasses - Wine Glasses, Beer Pints, some Pro Glasses and these Tumblers. These Smoke Tumblers look really good - plus they do their job and keep our drinks cold. We live in Phoenix so the heat takes its toll on drinks. These provide an easy and cool way to keep the drinks chilled. Plus these are so easy too - just keep in the freezer and pull them out when you want to use them. Well made and very functional - these would also make a great gift.

Bought this set as a gift for my dad and brother in law. They LOVED them! I liked the variety of different colors they came in but ultimately decided on the wood grain look for a more neutral aesthetic. I think this is a great gift idea or a great addition to the bar of any whiskey and bourbon lover.

Some reviewers don't seem to understand the concept of surface area, thermal transmissivity, and how it all works in cooling/keeping a beverage cool. Pouring a room-temperature liquid into these will not make the liquid ice-cold, nor should it be expected to. Use ice for that. The plastic is thick on the outside and thin on the inside, and if the gel inside is frozen, it will keep a cold drink cold for _far_ longer than a glass even as the outside comes up to room temperature. Have had 4 of these for years and use them all the time. Have not seen any discoloration as some other reviewers have noted, but mine are used primarily for whiskey -- it's certainly possible that some other drinks might discolor the plastic.

Bought these to use for small servings of drinks that I didn't want to dilute with melting ice. They are working just fine and keep drinks very cool for about 35 - 40 minutes.

I got these for my husband for his birthday - we enjoy a mixed drink some evenings, and sometimes the melting ice cubes water it down, the glasses drip with condensation and make your hands cold holding them.I saw these and read that the interior gel keeps the drink cold without watering it down and that the silicone strip on the outside keeps your hands from getting cold.I put them in the freezer until they were ready, but found that after pouring the drink in, it takes a while for the gel within the cup to actually get the drink cold. We wound up adding ice anyway to chill it faster. Also, the cups still generate a lot of condensation and the silicone strip did nothing the keep the hand warmer or dryer than using a regular glass.We also didn't like the feel of the cups to drink from - the thinner plastic rim isn't nearly as comfortable a feel as a nice glass.Overall, while there is nothing inherently wrong with these, for us there just isn't anything right about them, either.Not a great purchase, I can't recommend it.

Es ist kein Glas sondern Kunststoffglas, evtl. Acrylglas. "Scharfkantiger Plastikbecher" wäre die richtige Beschreibung. Nicht Spülmaschinenfest, muss von Hand gewaschen werden. In der Beschreibung steht GLAS. Und.. wer möchte seinen teuren Whisky oder Rhum aus so einem Chemiebecher trinken!? Der Silikongummi um das Glas ist lose und nicht eingearbeitet. Ich ärgere mich dafür Geld ausgegeben habe. Das Produkt geht umgehend in das Recycling. Glaubt den schlechten Kritiken.. ist alles wahr.
