My kids tend to move around a lot in their sleep like they are running a marathon in a circle. That movement leads to wake-ups and poor sleep. We ordered these in 3 different designs for my 3 kids. This was perfect for our little 3 year old severely autistic foster child. He would scream and lose it and snuggling him with this in a dark room was the best way to calm him down. It's not too heavy and gives the right amount of pressure for a toddler. Very cute vibrant dino design too.

Love, love, love this blanket! My son has autism spectrum disorder and has difficulty with emotional regulation and falling asleep at night. We've used this to help him feel calm and relieve anxiety, and he uses it every night to fall asleep. It's also big enough to cover him from shoulder to feet! He's about 4ft and 61 pounds. Definitely look at the recommendations for what weight is good for your child. But yes, he loves the design and the feel. Everyone in our house has used it at one point just for the comfort of it. The material isn't rough. Not super soft, but not rough at all. Would recommend this blanket. No complaints at all!

This is so cute and a nice weight for a child. It is great quality and reasonably priced for a weighted blanket. The colors is so bright, and it's just the right size for a toddler. Yes I would highly recommend it.
