I made a set of free standing flashlight stands using 1/4-20 "magic arms", clamps, and a magnet. Needed a heavy duty base so they can hold the light without tipping.These work great. They're thick, heavy, and wide enough that they don't topple easy. They attract magnets so the arm attaches securely to this baseplate. They also work well for DIY phone stands.

These arrived well packed and oiled to avoid corrosion until I’m ready to use them. They are not junk until I add my handiwork :-) The dimensions advertise are accurate, so I have no reason to recommend moving on to another brand.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!

This is a solid set of circular steel plates. They have a variety of uses, including as a relatively heavy base. They are supposed to be weldable although I am not going to weld them. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

Do you need a 4" x 1/4" steel disk (or 2)? You could grab a piece of 1/4" plate and spend an hour at the bandsaw and grinder. Or you could get a piece of 4" diameter bar and slice off a couple of pieces. Or... just buy this.

Nice crisp cut steel rounds. These are great, if you need a steel round. Using them to weld tops for fencing poles, which they are a little bit heavy duty for, but work great. High quality weldable steel.

Arrived in a small cardboard box with 2 circular plates coated in light oil within a plastic food wrap type plastic wrap and a small bit of foam. They measured in at about 0.256" thick and 4" in diameter with no damage (Not that I expected 1/4" steel to arrive damaged). They'll require some cleanup prior to welding but you should be used to that as a welder.

These steel plates meet expectations. They are indeed steel and they are dimensionally accurate. That's all I wanted. The black finish is fine. Can't complain.
