My daughter loves these mitts, there are her go to any time she is outside and she wears them to school everyday! She wore through her first pair and onto her second but they did really well for the wear and play she puts them through. The palms wore out of her first pair (I think from some climbing thing at school they call the spider web - made of cabling).She does not complain of cold hands. They do get wet eventually.
