Have went through a few different types of paper towel holders that keep falling apart in 6 months. This one is from 3-4 black pipe. i did have an issue with getting it tight enough where it wouldn’t turn after getting mounted. red loctite and letting it set up seems to have resolved this.

It’s metal, so I gave softness a 1-Star. It’s strong. Probably too strong for the paper towels that I use it for in my wood shop. It is glorious and I feel more confident in myself whenever my eyes gaze upon it.

From the measurements given online, it looked like it would work for under-cabinet mounting, but it hung a good inch or two lower than my old one - to the point that the paper towel roll would have gotten in the way of other things on the counter below. Quality and appearance of the item were good, just needed to be a little lower profile to work for me.

I used mine in garage. Perfect for garage. But it looks pretty good. So it could be used in the kitchen too. Just need to be certain style design kitchen to match
