I just bought my second one to avoid walking down the stairs to the first. Just plug it into your home wireless network RJ-45 port (on your wireless router) then use your operating system device manager to set it up. Or. plug it into a usb port instead. Simple. Inexpensively and flawlessly prints two-sided copies with readily available toner cartridges available from Amazon. And don't forget to order a toner cartridge to go with it. Refilled or new sizes 80A and 80X work with this printer. I use refilled.

I was a bit hesitant to get a refurbished printer, but other reviews eased my reluctance. This printer is the exact same model I was using. I had to download and install the drivers from online, but that was easy for me. The printer is wonderful. So far, it works just like a new one. Cosmetically, it looks just fine. I have been very pleased. To buy a comparable new HP printer would have cost about twice the money, plus the new printers are so new that generic toner for them is not yet available at this time (Fall of 2023) on Amazon. So HP toner cartridges would cost well over $100 instead of generic $20 cartridges. Generic cartridges work just fine and save me a small fortune. I hope this information helps you.

It seems to work quite well so far, but the inside of the plastic bag it was packed with was WET! The inside of the machine seemed to be fine and it is working at the moment, but the outside of the machine was very damp.

In this day and age, who the heck sells a printer without a fing TONER CARTRIDGE? It's like advertising a car without saying that it doesn't have an engine. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print they indicate that there's no toner cartridge included but does everyone has the time to read the fine print when shopping especially when there are tens of options? Especially considering that folks expect to purchase FUNCTIONAL products! WTH?? I've bought lots of printers in the past AND THEY ALL WERE FUNCTIONAL AND INCLUDED A TONER CARTRIDGE. It's bad enough that I'm being forced to work from home and purchase my own equipment in order to keep servicing our citizens and now have to deal with this CRAP. If I had the time I would just return this POS and order one from a vendor THAT SHIPS A FUNCTIONAL PRINTER WITH A TONER CARTRIDGE! I read the fine print and it indicates that it "includes New Generic Print Consumables : (Toner Cartridge: CF280A) - 90 Day Depot Warranty ". I'll contact the seller and request the toner cartridge as promised or I'll have no option that to return the printer.
