My office jet 8600 printer stopped working after many years of service. I was hesitant to buy this one because I never buy used electronics. After reading lots of reviews, I decided on this refurbished office jet 8028 printer. First of all, this printer arrived well packaged, in perfect condition. It's hard to believe that it was used by anyone!The set up wasn't exactly easy for this 80 yr old grandma, even though the instructions were pretty clear, along with the videos on you tube. Love the blue color as well. Got it up and running. Print is nice and clear. Prints pretty fast, haven't used the fax yet. Expect it to lad a long time. It's also not heavy to move around if needed.

Nice refurb unit. I can't see where it might have been used at all. Packed well, easy to setup (thanks to HP's awesome automated processes) and it comes with a free trial of their ink and paper service. I've been using that for years and it's well worth the money. The printing is fast, and very accurate. It looks great in my home office.

I am SO happy with this printer; I bought it certified refurbished, and it is in GREAT shape! It works perfectly, looks sleek and professional, is super quiet, and prints amazing quality copies. The ink was so easy to install, and the software works wonderfully, even with my old and struggling WiFi connection! It is definetly worth the price!!

POS.!!! Difficult to load paper so it will not jam or give an error message of "load paper". DO NOT SUBSCRIBE FOR "SMART INK" !!! When those cartridges run out, if you have not received the replacements, the PRINTER SHUTS DOWN and CANNOT BE USED!!! ALWATS have NON "smart ink" cartridges on hand. NOW after only 3 months, there is a PRINTHEAD ERROR, that cannot be cleared via alignment, clean printhead or any of the other "print quality" tools. DONT BUY THIS POS!!

I was in desperate need of a printer and I took my time searching online for a printer that was not too large , but would meet all of my needs . This printer did just what I needed it to do with the printer and scan features . It was easy to setup too .

The ink cartridges sent with the unit were very old. The retention clips had to be expanded in order to seat properly in the ink carriage. Installation of the software was a nightmare. Some of the software was installed by computer some was installed wirelessly by the printer, but it was going back and forth between printer and computer several time that was annoying. It took more than 45 minutes to complete the process. Hp should have preinstalled most of the printer software. It prints OK.
