Not really wild about the file naming and destination saving routine -- maybe I haven't figures out how its supposed to work but I struggle with it. Otherwise nice scanner -- fast, great resolution, and with sheet feeder beats the heck out of the single sheet flatbed scanner I was using previously.

This is a "Medical Grade Scanner." Put the word medical in and the price goes way up. I guess HP charges so much because they cannot sell you ink for it. Also, this device is designed for high volume and will dry rot if it is not used in high volume. We required it to work with our Practice Management Software. Lucky to find a refurbished one.

Bought this scanner for small office use. Owned and used and HP8390 scanner for more than 7-8 years -- a decent scanner -- scanned more than 100,000 pages. Decided to replace it when the back side scan (for duplex scanning) started to gray out. The HP8390, with routine maintenance, was a real workhorse.Decided to buy HP 7500 as replacement -- worked well, actually better -- for 1 year and 3 weeks. Then, it died. Others have commented on the decline in the quality of HP products -- they certainly look right!Avoid this scanner, especially, if you plan to use it longer than the warrantee period. My other HP 7500 scanner started showing false colors on the reverse side -- another useless HP product -- switched to Fujitsu.

wish it would transfer to pdf a little clearer. got all the setting on best quality scan and the transfer is not near a clear as i expected it to be. Had it about 2 weeks. I think it is over priced compared to what printer with scanner price is. Yes it does scan much faster than single sheet printer scanner but would be nice to get as clear of transfer as if you were printing off a page on the printer

This product was dead on arrival. I spent more than $200 with a computer consultant. I returned it, but I get to eat the $200 plus. Shop elsewhere folks. You don’t want the headache.

Received scanner with a blown drive motor. I don't know how that could have passed QA. Returned scanner for credit.

Processing of the order as well as shipping was prompt. The scanner itself works great - very fast and easy to use!
