There's no instructions included. Just copy your current switch wires and plug them in same place. Works for light and fan. I used this for a range hood in a mobile home. Very satisfied.

just what I needed. The original hole my old switch was a about 1/16" smaller so I had to open the hole a bit. Only using two speeds for my set up but does the job well.

Unfortunately this product was not compatible with my range hood so I had to return it. The shipping was as expensive as the item but the customer service was very quick and responsive and refunded me south having to return it.
