MAXIMIZING THE LIFE OF YOUR BATTERY
Charge the vacuum for 7 hours before initial use. After initial use, each recharge will take 4 to 7 hours. A complete oval around the power button will illuminate when the charge is complete.
If the vacuum has never been used or has not been used for an extended period of time, it will take 3 to 5 complete charge and run down cycles to realize the full operational time of the vacuum.
BATTERY RECONDITIONING
If you experience shorter run time over the life of the vacuum, perform the following battery reconditioning steps. These steps can also be performed as monthly maintenance for maximum battery life.
1 Charge the vacuum for a minimum of 7 hours.
2 Run the vacuum until it turns itself off.
3 Charge the vacuum for a minimum of 7 hours.

Original battery would no longer charge on our Shark vacuum. When I looked at it closer and realized that I could possibly find a new replacement battery for it I was glad. This battery fit fine and is doing the trick. Much better than paying the price of a new vacuum of that style. Definitely could recommend.

Can't speak on the longevity of this battery, but it fixed my problem with no issue. All of a sudden, my circa 2016 model Shark rotator vac wouldn't stay on any longer than about 10 seconds after a full charge. Replaced the battery with this one, let it charge about a day and she lives again! Good thing too, because I was NOT ready to say goodbye to the best cordless vacuum I've ever owned. The newer model runs around $140 at time of review, so this was $27 bucks well spent... Thumbs up, will update if it fails.

Does just what it's supposed to do, charged right up when I first installed it! Fit perfectly. It was very easy to install and the battery itself isn't too heavy. Great and I expensive product. Will purchase again!

The original battery in my vacuum finally gave up the ghost and I replaced it with this battery and it works great!!! Battery life is good and it fit in my vacuum perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

The Battery was easy to install and is working GREAT! So glad to have my 'little' Shark back in service!!Took off a Star because I think that these Ni-Hm Battery packs are overpriced, in general, and have a tendencyto last for too short a time. I will get back to you with another review in a year . . . . .. . or less, when the batterystops working (again).

This battery arrived even faster than it was scheduled to. It came to Canada from the US which increased the overall cost but was still a better deal than others. Not sure of the battery life yet but hubby's happy to have the little Shark back instead of lugging the big vacuum out all the time.

The original rechargeable battery didn't last very long. I hope this one lasts longer. It worked very well on the first charge.
