Maintenance
Prerequisites:
1.Close the water supply of your system and drains all lines.Make sure the water in the chamber lower than the quartz sleeve.
2.Depressurize the unit.Place a small pail under the unit to catch any spills.
Remove the UV lamp out.
Notes:
1.Clean the quartz sleeve with a cloth soaked in CLR,vinegar or some other mild acid and then rinse with water.
2.Replace the tube if it cannot be cleaned completely or scratched or cracked.

This is the replacement quart sleeve for the HQUA UV Light I installed in my daughter's residence several years ago. For optimal UV protection these should be replaced yearly along with the UV bulb.When I replace these I actually keep the old one as a backup for those "just in case" moments. They are fairly fragile and I actually broke 2 at my own residence while cleaning them in between the yearly changing. Now if that happens I just use the old one as a temporary fix while waiting for the new one to arrive.

My Quartz tube was broken accidentally after install. I contacted the seller to find the right replacement part and they responded very quickly and helped me locate the right one. Highly recommend both the product and the seller.

bought this for my Bluonics 55w 12gallon whole house UV filter as the original broke. it's the same size as the original and works perfect

Somehow something did not work in the Amazon / courier chain so my first order went into a black hole. I reordered the same item again and got it today. The packaging is amazing and very solid. Well done seller!It fits my UV Purifier I ordered from Vevor.ca. I was so impressed, immediately ordered another quartz tube as spare.My UV purifier is a 12 GPM x 55Watts. The quartz tube is 37†long closed one end. The OD is 0.910 inches.I am very happy with this purchase.
