I bought one of those C clamp looking tools that you clamp in a bench vise to rivet brake linings and had terrible results so I bought this tool thinking I hope it works better than that other thing and was VERY impressed with the results they look perfect almost like a factory installed rivet no splitting no mashed edges well worth the price- make sure you purchase the one for your particular rivet size is my only advice

Simplicity of use. I had to use it to crimp the rivets for the replacement wood on dog ring gates.

I was skeptical paying $29 for this tool, but it made hand clinching a bunch of rivets a breeze. Pricy for being a stick of metal but since it performs and holds up it's a nice addition to my tool set.

This shiney little bit of hardware worked great. I could flare rivets all day with this thing, it held up well against my hammer and didn't mushroom the top of the tool a all. This was a great purhase in my book.

I ordered this to clinch the rivets on replacement hinges for a couple of Da-Lite Fast-Fold screens. It worked perfectly. In fact the replacements look exactly like the factory installed rivets.Less expensive with faster delivery to order this here than from Da-Lite through a middle-man.

Used with Hillman 1280 tubular steel rivets to attach steel crampons back to plastic snowshoe foot-base after welding stress fractures. Combined with a 3lb steel mallet, imparts a beautiful roll. Used with washers to widen the clamping area.
