First of all, check and make sure that the saw rotates in the CORRECT direction. I still don’t understand - this is chinese humor, or standard chinese quality, or they simply mixed up the red and black wires. Before you start cutting anything, make sure the saw is rotating in the correct direction. Otherwise, you can ruin your saw teeth very quickly. This is easy to fix - just change the wires on the motor. On mine the saw was rotating in the opposite direction, I didn’t notice it right away, but I noticed that the saw cut very poorly, after which I noticed that the direction of rotation was not correct. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Overall a good machine for small jobs. Quite decent quality.

Even an experienced craftsman had difficulty cutting a piece of basswood in clean, straight line. Left side adjustment has screws so close to table that impossible to secure as needed. Weak motor. Thought it would help with small projects but absolutely not.

Works great for small hobbies. Very happy with it. The only problems is the white numbering with the silver color is hard to read. The fence hold down is a little annoying other that that it's perfect
