Gear puller. Obvious. Strong. No need to install. Easy to use, is you order this product you probably know how to use it. Value was great compared to Mac tools. Removal was also easy. Again if you need it you must also a mechanic as I am one. Its certain gears. That can be pulled. Wheel cylinders. Many wheel sizes, too many to list.

This tool and the Subaru ball joint puller should come as standard equipment with every Subaru.. especially if you live in Northeastern United States. After the nightmare we went through getting the front driver side bearing out I started look for solutions.. there had to be an easier way! I watched videos on the Hub Shocker but didn’t like the price.. this one worked really well but I did have to change the hardware up a bit. The washers are not as stout as they should probably be and I used a couple of old lug nuts instead of the nuts that came with it.. I hammered on it for a while with a 2lb sledge with no success but then my husband got out the big guns.. 2 smacks with the splitting maul and it was out.. definitely worth having in the shop! If you have a Subaru and do a lot of your own repairs.. it’s a must have.

I would recommend buying extra lug nuts or better hardware to use instead of the hardware that comes with it. Removed two rusted in Subaru Outback hubs.

Total life saver in the rust belt. I have done a few sets of wheel bearings and found this tool when looking for a better way. Built solid and took full sledge blows. I was surprised that it didn’t have nuts for the 2013 Ford Edge I was working on but id still recommend this to anyone.

Took 5 mins to get a 20yr old wheel hub off a Dodge Ram. I didn't get any washers or bolts but it's no biggie. The tall aftermarket lugs I have on the truck threaded all the way to the puller. Not much more to say other than it's a massive time saver.

The tool itself worked pretty well on the rear hubs on my Subaru Outback. Only two things to note:1. USE HEARING PROTECTION - I used ear plugs on the first side but forgot them for the other. Don't forget.2. You will likely need to purchase new, longer, grade 8 bolts and nuts, depending on your application.

I bought the tool and figured it would my life more easier to remove the stubborn Subaru wheel bearings (rust belt). Unfortunately it was not the case, I used the tool a couple of times and every time I was UNSUCCESSFUL in removing the wheel bearing, BUT was very much SUCCESSFUL in separating the HUB from the WHEEL BEARING, which afterwards left me fighting with the wheel bearing to have it removed from the knuckle (rear). Probably the tool works better for the front but I didn’t have the chance to try it as I used it for not long but long enough to try on rear ones. I ended up using my air hammer from the opposite end to remove the faulty part.
Great tool
