Light bulb holder was simple and straightforward to install, would get it again if I needed to build another light fixture.

Used 2 of these to add lights to the inside of a harbor freight sand blast cabinet. Worked out great and made a huge improvement.

Quality part at a great price; very hard to find. Includes lock nut and all hardware/wiring ready to go in order to replace an existing unit. This was a direct replacement for a broken lampholder that mounts to an older "gang box style" outdoor floodlight (that is hard wired and uses a photoelectric switch) that are used to project light up/across the front wall of a home my parents just purchased (house was built in the 1980s).This part was hard to find as most floodlights sold nowadays are solar powered and much larger, stand alone designs.

Terrible. I bought 25 of these, installed them outdoors and with first rainfall, they filled with water and tripped the lights. I now need to replace them all with proper weatherproof sockets.

These have worked well for me. I have a number of old 3-floodlight fixtures around the perimeter of the house. I intended to replace them but found that I could only find 2-floodlight fixtures, so I rebuild them. These lampholders fit well and have performed and lasted well in the outdoor fixtures.
