I shopped pretty hard for a lovey that was appropriately small for a four month old baby to play with while being supervised. From my perspective you want the thing small to minimize chance of baby throwing it over his/her face. I am not looking for a blanket, just something a baby can hug without getting overwhelmed. This thing is the right size. The features are a little sloppy with different sized ears or horns but it looks well enough stitched together that some light gnawing won't cause too much trouble. But I won't be allowing unsupervised sucking due to all the stitched on elements. I picked giraffe because no ear or horn is too long to actually get swallowed very easily.

We LOVE specifically the Hudson Baby brand snuggly animal things like this. My oldest has one that is an elephant and he has loved it his whole life (we actually had to buy a second because when it goes into the wash the sadness is unbearable). We got the giraffes (×2 to avoid sadness when it goes into the wash-we learned) for my newborn daughter and even though she is brand new to the world i know she will love and become just as attached to her giraffe as my son is to his elephant. Hudson Baby has the SOFTEST snuggle blanket animal things and they hold up with that softness really well. My son has had his for a year and a half and they get washed weekly and still feel almost just as soft as when we got them.

Cuando tuve a mi hijo le compré una mantilla de seguridad, que a lo largo de su crecimiento nos ayudó muchÃsimo, cuando tuve que regresar a trabajar, cuando entró al kinder, dormir en su propia cama, mientras tuviera su mantilla él se sentÃa seguro, una amiga muy querida tendrá a su bebé y pedà este para la bebé, espero que le sea de tanta utilidad como a mi, y es precioso, muy suave y super tierno, me encantó.
