they are amazing..........hard to snap on but once you figure out the secret, it goes on easy and if you can't press hard enough for the initial seal, get one of your teenagers/grandchildren to press down for you cause as we age, can't put that much pressure out. It took my husband and I both to press down on it. Once that is on, you are golden and it will be a very tight seal forever.....I have a few 20 years older ones and they are amazing to open. Without these twist tops, you are in another world of hurt to get the other lids that don't spin off. Good quality and good price.......I priced them other places and more money.

To store flour, rice, and other staples these are perfect. The only problem is that the adaptor ring is VERY HARD to attach. instructions say, "snap it on." This may be true for a body builder, but it's not true for most. A good sized dead-blow hammer is needed to force the adaptor ring on so that is it secure. Press down as hard as possible on one side of the adaptor ring, then push down the other side, securing it with a reasonable blow from the hammer. Continue around until all of the adaptor is solidly secure. I would not use a conventional hammer, however, as that may break the item. Not sure. The dead blow hammer seems the best tool for this purpose.

Great for creating you own Ling term storage fir grains and such. Add a milar bag and 0² absorber and you have some serious long term storage.

I like the product but why so expensive? The top ring is very difficult to snap on.
