I really like the quality these represent, and I like the design. I used them to replace the hard rubber feet on my 3D printer, because the shop I use has a wooden floor, and I've learned that vibration can impact the quality of printed parts. I do wish they had an adhesive on the small top end, but to hold them in place and keep them from slipping, I used some double sided tape. It's likely I'll never know if this tape was necessary, but the feet aren't slipping and they have no screws to hold them in place like the stock feet. I also believe these represent a very good vibration isolation solution for the price.

I choose Hudson HiFi pads over sorbothane pads because of their higher vibration absorption and durability.Although Hudson targets their products at users of turntables and CD players, I repurposed Hudson products to isolate my speakers and sub. I never tried my stands without pads, but slapped these pads on first thing. I think they add to the aesthetic, but I can't speak to how they altered the sound vs no pads or the simple provided pads. However, I did know a time before the sub used Hudson feet. The sub used to dance and produce a humming sound when it vibrated against the wood floor. The original feet had wood screws holding plastic feet with a tiny amount of soft material for the shoe. Inside of the foot was a thread to accept spikes. Rather than try to determine the thread size, and buy spikes and spike shoes, I went the cheaper route of replacing the feet with the Hudson Bigfoot. As a result, my walls and wood floor hardly resonate at all. Now I have to rely on my ears popping to know that the sub volume is set too high. Pretty crazy. One downside to using the Bigfoot for sub feet was the fact that the Bigfoot did not come with adhesive like the Hudson Hemisphere did. And I haven't placed any adhesive on yet. Still, the sub stays put, and the feet don't move around underneath. Repositioning the sub would be easier if the feet were attached, but the current situation is about equivalent to repositioning with spikes and spike shoes. For ease of repositioning sorbothane, SVS SoundPath, or Auralex SubDude may be the better options as sub feet. For my purposes the Bigfoot was cheap and effective.

When I opened the package I realized these are worth the cost. Big, and solid. They 100% help absorb vibrations from my pair of big floor standing theater speakers. They are on hardwood floors, and they have effectively reduced vibration and perhaps improved sound? Worth it.

I just didn’t like the appearance or sound with the subwoofer sitting flush on the ground. I felt it needed to be raised up a bit.Other risers were very expensive so I went with these. The price on these is a bit steep considering what they are: rubber nubs.Ultimately, they got the job done.Nice rise of the carpet and the unit sounds better.

These work great atop some high density foam on my mixdesk while looking super clean. There is minimal sound or vibration transfer to the desk now!!! My Mixes are much much better thank you Hudsonhifi!!!!

Nice quality, nice construction and size.Longtime audiophile/videophile here [40 years+] Own all the footers over the years, and still use many, including expensive ones from Germany that run $500+, Stillpoints, Ceraball, Isoacoustics, Vibrapods, SVS Soundpath, and more. [pic]While the above are more expensive [Qty-8] for the most part than the Bigfoot Isolation feet, except maybe the Vibrapods, I think its worth mentioning, as another reviewer did, that these footers have a surface that is not conducive with gripping to a surface. Well, clarification: to the surface of these studio monitors-The surface of these isolation feet has a smooth kinda, soft feel to them. I attempted to use Gorilla double sided tape on them, which pretty much stick to anything, but no good, not a chance. I didnt have any Scotch double sided tape left to try on these, but, it would not have worked anyhow, IMO-Currently I have them under some 18 pound studio monitors [pic], but, the speakers seem to slide around a little bit after time, not much mind you, but enough to cause me stress, being on the slightly picky side of audio/video set ups and related. [not quite anal retentive, but close]Perhaps under something more substantial they would be better suited, as I know they are rated to handle a much higher load capacity than these 18 pound monitors. Maybe micro vibrations and the power cords, and occasional bumping of the stand is at issue, but still, I would prefer they stay in place. The monitors move way too easy on the feet-Maybe if the surface of the feet were scuffed up a bit with sand paper/emery cloth, then the double sided tape would stick, etc., but I am not willing to do that at this point. I mean they did cost $50-So, I think if you are just running desktop speakers where vibration is not a huge issue with the speaker moving, or you place them under heavy components/speakers/subs, you probably be fine.Again, nice quality, nice size, just a tad slippery on top/bottom for my application. In the right set up, they should be great-You know what, I might put these under one of my amplifiers..............Peace-BM
