I've flown kites all my life, and with the exception of kitesurfing, I've flown almost every kind. This hybrid delta/box kite checks off all the boxes for stability, and ease of flight. And being the size it is, it will catch even the smallest winds. Just be sure that you have the right weight flying line for the day's wind, because if it's too light, you're going to snap the line, and this kite can PULL! It's also one of those kites that will go up forever if you have enough line, so make sure you're using a reel, and gloves to get that line back in. You'll be the star of the windy day with this guy!

Since I am the first REAL reviewer of the product, I will be honest. At first I thought I received a broken kite, but if you take some time to assemble it correctly, it's quite easy and makes sense. The tails are absolutely infuriating. You look at them sideways and they get completely tangled up, so we took them off. The kite withstood some serious wind at a few hundred feet up, and I am very impressed that it did not crumple or bend. It also took about 7 nosedives right into the ground with no damage. This kite is NOT for children. You need a reel with good string to use this. With the wind we have, it would pull a child right off the ground.

This kite comes with a very small case that is nearly impossible to get the kite back into. Luckily, I have some generic cases that this will fit back into. While putting this together I found that the center rods a slightly shorter than need. When the Velcro strap is closed over them, they have enough room to slide and to separate. The rods are not great quality. They are made from plastic. The large cross bar rod has an elastic string running through all the pieces making it simple to connect and disconnect the rods. After assembling the kite, I took the kite apart and the elastic string came off the rods and they are all separated. I can probably fix them. The tails have standard hooks and a loop to connect them to. The material is thin, and the strings connected from the hook to the tail are thin as well.Note this kite does NOT come with string. It requires the separate purchase of a kite reel such as an average kite that can be fun especially if you want to fly a huge kite.

My wife and I ordered this super large kite for our trips to the beach or, even our nearby by hill when the wind is in the right direction. We are truly shocked at just how small this packs down into. This is mainly dure to the fact that the maker has cleverly used the tent building technology of elasticated pole to make up the various sections of the kite's poles.Yes, this is a little more involved to build, so we would most likely take our time the night before , to partially build this large kite ready for final assembly at the destination. This way you are not trying to build the kite in the wind! and you will be flying this kite within a minute or two!We love the bright green color of the wing and most especially the unique bi-lateral tail streamers that stabilizes this kite, while flying.Thankfully, we still have some large wheel-winders from other previous kites that we have flown and we would suggest these for a kite of this size, rather than the simpler but more painful, basic winders that most kites, come with. This is a very attractively priced for what your get. It is gorgeous kite and we cannot wait to fly this on a beautiful beach, with an off-shore breeze.

this very, very large (10 feet across!) kite is a lot of fun, while still being accessible in terms of assembly and packing. I wouldn't recommend trying to put it together on your own on a windy day, but overall, it's a bit like assembling 1/4 of a tent. you'll need your own heavy duty kite line, but once it's up, it's all worth it. a lot of fun with good maneuverability

I wouldn't allow a small child to use this on a windy day it may carry them off but it's a Very good Kite from my personal experience using it.

This kite is over 6 feet tall. The construction is ripstop nylon and fiberglass poles. It also came in a nylon pouch, But there's no chance you're ever going to get it folded up back in the bag. It did not come with kite string to fly it. I bought 300 yards of 85-pound Braided fishing line and butit will absolutely cut a finger off. I hooked it up to one of my deepwater fishing poles. this makes it fun and easy for even the kids to use. a note of caution never let anyone put hands on the kite by the kite string. There is so much force when his kite goes up in the air it feels like it wants to start ripping out of your hands and the nylon line Can give you a vicious cut. Just lessons I learned the hard way.I have several kites I fly with the grandchildren, the one kite that all want to use is this one.(they call it the Manta Ray) This large kite requires constant attention over the kids.

Beautiful kite. It is much larger then you think it would be. The materials are extremely light for the size. Comes in a nice storage bag with easy to read instructions. Assembky is sume and easy I would have liked to see a handle to use with the kite, but I can see why there isn't one included as it would jump the price you and would not package well. I kinda like the idea of getting a personalise kite handle. Launching is pretty easy and can be done from off the ground without a running start.
