I got this product for plein air and just having a water media tray where ever I want it. Given there were 12 I gave one away to an artist friend of mine who also does plein air.I wasn't looking for anything fancy just light, easy, a few wells, not too flimsy.These are not the beefiest paint trays but they work well enough. The price is very reasonable. I am not worried about losing one. Water media rinses off well enough. I do not think I would recommend them for anything requiring solvents though - they are plastic.

These are lightweight and disposable for the price. I looked at multiple different ones on Amazon and they all are pretty much the same, so I purchased these due to the better price for the quantity you receive. When you receive them they look small, but that is OK. Paint can dry pretty fast and you don’t want large reservoirs to place a large amount of paint in. You also don’t want a large one, because then you have to reach farther to get to the paint. The center allows you to mix colors if you like. These came in perfect condition and worked well. We actually hand washed them and the acrylic paint was removed easily, so we will be able to use these again.

I just used these today with 7th graders who were painting ceramics. They were great. Each student had their own palette and therefore the original colors remained true since the students just poured what the needed. The palettes are also super easy to clean. I didn't get to clean them until 5 hours after the event. It only took me 10 minutes to clean the 12 palettes and they look brand new. I do wish the individual spots for paint were a bigger. Non-the-less, I do recommend this product.

I used these for a cupcake decorating activity, where I placed a cupcake with icing in the center and used the paint holders for sprinkles. A big hit at a toddler birthday party! They washed well and I plan to use them for painting at a later date.

After seeing what the local stores had to offer I was a bit skeptical on what the quality would be. But they are actually worth it. They are thicker than what my local stores have. Just to see if I would be able to rinse it let it dry and the reuse it and to my surprise it is able to be used again.
