I was using a large spatula to create smash burgers and it worked, but this press does it faster and easier. I've used it four times so far and it works great. My last outing was making about 50 smash burgers at our tailgate and performed flawlessly. The price is great and it's solidly built. I bought a second press to keep at our lake place.

These pieces are heavy duty with good mass. Some of the edges have burrs that are best removed. A small mill file and some Emory cloth, or a Dremel tool will quickly fix that.

I love the Hulisen press I purchased it to make paninis with but also have used it for quesadillas in my electric skillet and yes it speeds up the cooking time also the handle does not heat up it is easy to clean and is a very sturdy kitchen utensil.

It squishes food, it feels very sturdy, and you can wash it in the dishwasher with no problems whatsoever. It's the perfect tool of its kind.

Smash burgers and pan fried proteins come out well with this little tool. It’s a great size and easy to clean off. It has just enough weight due to the large surface area that you can leave it without pressing down.If you enjoy beef patties then you will really enjoy one of these.
