The Humminbird XNT 9 20 T Transom Mount Transducer is a high-speed transducer designed to mount on the transom, or back, of the boat, in contact with the surface of the water, and operate in conjunction with a compatible Humminbird sonar or fish finder system. This unit is a single and DualBeam transducer that features 20- and 60-degree cone angles operating on 200 kHz and 83 kHx frequencies respectively.
The XNT 9 20 T includes a built-in temperature sensor, a 20-foot cable, and all the necessary high-speed hardware to get up and running right away. Although this unit has the same hole pattern as some older-version transducers, it utilizes a new design that is more secure and less prone to kick up at the high force of waves, as well as having an improved running angle, and an optional lock-down screw to override the kick up. The Humminbird XNT 9 20 T transducer is specifically designed for use with Humminbird's; Matrix 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 27, 67, 77c, 87c, 97, 717, 727, 737, 767, 777, 787, 323, 343, 363, 383, 141, 161, PMax10, PMax15, PMax20, PMax210, PMax215, PMax220, 917c, 931c, 937c, 957c, 997c, 515, 525, 535, 565,580, 585c, 595c, Piranha 2, Piranha 4, XP2000, and XP4000 sonar devices and fish finders. Tore off my old transducer and used this as the replacement. Came with quite about 20 feet of cable and YES it did shoot through aluminum hull. I mounted this in a little aluminum something that Bass Tracker has in front of the outboards to divert water around the motor mount it's nice and protected there, hopefully now this will be the last one I buy. Because I read mixed reports of shooting through AL, I was apprehensive about the mounting of it and just tossed it in place and took it for a spin. The water held in that AL diverter during trolling/low speed, but left when speed picked up, the readings then disappeared, will work around all that this Fall when I take the boat home. I think if you mount it in that diverter thing like I did, you can just get the puck style and save a couple more $$. I wouldn't epoxy it in place, that's too permanent, just let it sit in water, you'll be fine.

Was having trouble with my previous Transducer. After installing the new Transducer everything is fine now. Lots cheaper the replacement unit.

My fish finder quit working ie, garbled display.I was considering replacing the entire unit but found this matching sonar head first.For the price, I was willing to discard if it didn’t fix my issue.Mounted exactly the same on the boat and I ran the cable loose to try it.Very happy to say that my finder started working better than ever.Saved me buying a complete new finder.I’ll install it properly now a fish on.Very happy to have found this.

Bought this as a replacement for transducer for 20 year old fish finder damaged during a power wash. All connections were exactly the same.Worked perfectly and looking forward to finding fish in the next 20 years.
