I have four Hunter controllers controlling 38 zones in Arizona heat. They have been in place for 4 years and I have had zero problems. I highly recommend the Hunter brand. They may be expensive in the beginning but if you don’t need to replace them they are economical in the long run.

This irrigation controller is sturdy and I am confident it will hold up to outdoor use. It is easy to install and the cabinet has plenty of room for wiring, it also has extra knockouts for multiple conduits. Programming is easy and there are advanced features like a valve check that tests all stations for short circuits and a seasonal adjustment. I did not install the WiFi module as I prefer an offline controller.

Not the 1st time owning a Hunter irrigation controller so Hunter controller becomes a natural choice for its reliability. Yet again this one is EZ to use ESPECIALLY when paired with WIFI wand on Hydrawise app. We installed the controller ourselves by watching Youtube video. Methodically label all your zones especially for those who have many zones! EZ to install. And buy the WIFI wand with this unit which makes scheduling much EZ on Hydrawise.

Works great. The solar adjustment feature and ability to connect to a backyard weather station is great. Saving as much as 60% water usage with the auto-adjust feature.

Disappointed that I did not get this controller that works with 240 volts, especially when ordered through amazon.com. AU (Amazon Australia) Australia and New Zealand where I live supplies 240 volts AC. My controller was shipped from US and I discovered that it was 120 volts. This was after I swapped over the wall plug and connected it to AC. I then fried the unit rendering it useless. I would have expected Amazon to provide an option to buy either 120 or 240 volts on their webpage - but no ! I contacted Hunter Industries and they advise the unit is broken and cannot be refurbished.

I am not sure some people brag about it. It connects solid, no issues now for 4 month, never once lost the connection. Vey easy to install and program it. I live the Remote function, it allowed me to remotely water my lawn from the high Alps while in vacation away from home in canada. Thank you Hunter!
