The slots of the HS Strut Cookie Cutt'R Tracer lid pot call are designed so that all one has to do is insert the striker tip and strike in the direction of the arrows producing consistent calls every time.

Being new to turkey hunting I wanted to get up and running asap. This "training" call did the trick. Great sound and easy to learn to use with the cutouts. Highly recommend for anyone learning to use or someone just looking for an easy to use turkey call.

Easy to learn and use. took it to my daughter's farm and practiced with her turkeys. Worked with them, hope it works with wild turkeys.
Fit my stoeger m3500. Included screws also fit.

Got this for my son to practice on and used it for myself when I forgot my call at home. Ended up having a Tom literally running to me.

Work well to get started but you be buying a better call if you are serious. Good for kids or new hunters. Gets your hands going in the right direction.

We have a flock of wild turkeys coming through our yard almost every day, and I wanted to play. I bought this because it was compact and simple, and this has proved to be true. It takes a little jiggering to make the calls work as expected, but overall it is very simple. I hadn't used a turkey caller in decades, so I wanted something simple.When the slate becomes "polished" it is simple to resolve. Remove the cover and rinse the slate rather than sanding.Overall, we are happy. It is fun to see the turkeys freeze and look at us as we are "talking turkey." :)
