They seem to be well made and they have indicators on the benders showing you different fractional inches to place your bend at. They're comfortable in the hand and I feel like it was a good deal for the price it seems like a medium quality tool.UPDATE: I used them the first time the other day to straighten out a bent up under carriage aluminum piece of trim on a car. The tool worked great! No complaints whatsoever!

I used this tool for stretching canvas. It works very well. It is solid with a great drip. It was on the heavier side. But I loved the way it helped me to stretch the canvas.

Over the years I've wished I had one. And I had a project coming that I was gonna wish again. I did not want to spend a lot for one. This did the job quite well. Maybe not as easy as some to use. Seems to be designed for a larger hand. But it got the job done well within my expectations. I don't see why it won't outlast the casual user.

So the seamer is heavy and overall appears to be well built. All the pivot points do not have any slop or looseness.The bad part is this tool is design to create straight bends, but the top and bottom jaw alignment on the front edge is not aligned. So if you do a bend down the crease will not align because they are off by almost 3/16".Since the jaws are cast the simplest way they could have corrected this would have been to just simply grind/file the front edges to a straight edge once assembled. Now I have to do that.

It was good enough to make some modifications to the hot air plenum on my home furnace. I don’t know if it would stand up to daily long term use but it was cheap and perfect for what I needed.
