This was a replacement for the auger belt on the Husqvarna ST224. The old one seemed to have loosened up since purchasing the snowblower back in 2017.

After the original belt on my Poulan Pro wore out, during a snow storm of course, I searched Menards, Home Depot, Lowe’s, local hardware and auto parts stores and nothing I bought fit. After searching Poulans website I found the part number and matched it to this belt. Put it on and it fit perfectly. Next day I went and ordered 2 more.

Husqvarna makes it unintentionally difficult to find the proper replacement parts. Once I was able to confirm the proper belt number it fit like a glove.

This belt finally appeared to be the right one of three orders during this winter. All had the same Part number, but only this fit for ST 224 properly. However delivery took over a month. It looks like UPS courier walked on their feet from USA to Canada...

Changed the auger belt myself with no problems, ended up buying 2 of these as I know I’ll end up blowing another belt sooner or later. Overall very pleased as I found it really difficult to find the right belt in local stores here in the GTA.
