I’m no longer wasting plastic bags to shore onion. No smell when closed properly. Just the right size for my sweet onions! I use it all the time. It has stood up to the dishwashing in the dishwasher. I’m impressed by this product. It keeps the onion fresh and is attractive. The color and style makes it easy to find my cut and peeled onion! Inexpensive too!

This is the second one I’ve owned, I wish they were made just a little bit stronger. This really does cut down on onion smells in your refrigerator and keeps the onion fresher.

We've had one for several years now and it was great for keeping the onion fresh longer and it didn't stink up the refrigerator. Problem was it became increasingly harder and harder to open it. So I figured just buy a new one for six dollars and be done with it. When the new one came I tried it and it wasn't any easier to open than the old one. Then it hit me, why don't you put some vegetable oil around the little plastic pieces that stick out and makes it lock closed. Well it worked like a champ. I even put oil on the new one and that works better too.

This is a great product to keep the onions fresh. I had some leftover onion there and had to go on a trip for 10 days, when I came back the onion was as fresh as the day I put it in it. It’s definitely a great product and serves the purpose. My only complaint is that it’s not easy to open and close. But it’s not a deal breaker for me.

I love my onion keeper!!! I don't understand how these work at keeping your onion longer but they really do work as well as keeping the onion smell contained! I love the onion shape so it is easily noticeable when you are looking for it. I had another one that was gifted to me and it lasted for many years. The plastic broke on the lid. I was very happy to find a replacement that was exactly the same brand as the one I had.

I just received the item, it’s huggggeeeee! Like why? What onion would be that big. Sometimes practicality is not common. I just wasn’t expecting such a large item for used onion storage in the refrigerator. Makes no sense. It takes forever to shop, almost 2 weeks. If I could return, I would.

This is the second onion keeper we’ve had as the first one was used for so long it was trashed and still worked! It amazes me how they keep the unused portions of onion from overpowering the fridge and staying fresh longer than wrap. A+

.. not as easy to open as others I've had. This one has no marker for where it locks or unlocks. It feels sticky. This is even after several months of use.
